Yes it sounds too good to be true, but if you look beyond the more obvious high street brands you find a whole world of face creams that aren't really expensive and actually work quite well. One area of entirely untapped face cream potential is the - wait for it- baby aisle of your local supermarket. Products for children are always cheaper (VAT and all that) and because they're made for babies they often contain less of the bad stuff. Which is good.
