A few years ago, we got a rare peek into her perfume collection - and it was enough to make us want to go shopping right there and then.
Recently, Hague shared her latest fragrance obsession on her Instagram Stories and, as a beauty journalist, I was immediately intrigued. The bottles she posted were very minimalist, clean, and Instagram-shelf-worthy and, in more surprising news, I had never seen them before. Turns out, they are from Memree.
She wrote, 'Late August’ is the only perfume I've been wearing recently. The most INCREDIBLE daytime scent ever. It’s unbelievably fresh and clean... the ultimate clean-girl scent in my opinion.' So, what does it smell like? With a strong parfum intensity, this fragrance belongs to the floral-floral family, combining green notes, tuberose, orris, amber, and musk it's the kind of scent that feels as timeless.
Admittedly, I first thought the brand belonged to Hague but after some digging, I discovered it belonged to her close influencer friend Tayla-Blue. The brand is a recent entry into the luxury space - established in 2022 and officially launched in 2024.
As Tayla-Blue explained on her Instagram Stories, 'Memree came from 'memories'—I brainstormed around that vibe before landing on 'memree.' It made so much sense for fragrance, since a smell can transport us to specific moments. Fragrance is like a time capsule. I smell a certain perfume and feel like I’m in a completely different era of my life! It’s so powerful. So nostalgic.'
