Yikes. It turns out three of the stars from the latest series of Too Hot To Handle were arrested – after behaving badly on a flight back home.
The incident happened in February 2021, with three of the contestants - Beaux Raymond, Harry Johnson and Jackson 'Matthew' Mawhinney - fined £3,000 each for drunkenly abusing British Airways staff. They apparently became aggressive after being told to wear face masks, and being refused more alcohol.
Jackson (real name Matthew) allegedly spat at a waitress and told staff to look up who is mum is - Baroness Scotland, Britain’s first female attorney general. He then apparently screwed up a written warning from the captain of the flight. Harry and Beaux were also asked to stop ‘behaving intimately’.
When she was refused any more alcohol, Beaux reportedly told a stewardess: ‘Take my fucking tray away, don’t you know I’m a fucking secretary, I will take your job away from you.’ (She has kept her job as a legal secretary.)
Since, the trio have apologised for their actions toThe Sun. ‘I hope when people do watch the show, they realise that our characters aren't what's been portrayed and obviously it just was a drunk mistake,’ Harry told the paper.
Beaux said, ‘I'm sorry to everyone and nothing like that has ever, ever happen[ed] again.’ Jackson added, ‘Our behaviour was immature and irresponsible and it’s weighed heavy on all us, and we're just really looking to move forward from it as quickly as possible.’
Season three of Too Hot To Handle dropped on Netflix earlier this week - with the contestants yet again trying their best to stay celibate, under the watchful eye of robot Lana, for a shot at the prize money.
Spoiler alert: after meeting on the show, Beaux - who is from Kent - and Harry - who is from Middlesbrough - left it as boyfriend and girlfriend. As to whether they’re still together, they’re leaving flirty comments on each other’s Instagrams - so, we guess so?
