Marc Jacobs To DVF: Kendall Jenner’s New York Fashion Week Highlights

It was written in the fashion week stars that Kendall Jenner would be the most Instagrammed/tweeted/hounded person at Fashion Month. Things are on track for SS15 domination, as she has walked at four shows so far this season: Tommy Hilfiger, Donna Karan, Diane Von Furstenberg and Marc Jacobs.

For the past few seasons if you spotted a backstage scrum, chances are you'd find a beanie-clad Cara pulling goofy faces right in the middle of it all. But this fashion week Kendall is challenging Queen Delevingne's reign. While Kendall has been in the hair and makeup chair, Cara has been focusing on her new collection for Mulberry and hitting the red carpet at the Toronto Film Festival.

Kendall made her catwalk debut at Marc Jacobs last season, so she was bound to walk in his Spring Summer 2015 show. The surprising thing about the MJ show (other than the Barbie pink carpet) was that all the models wore no makeup. Zilch. Zero. Nada. The models wore nothing but moisturiser, including Kendall Jenner, Karlie Kloss and Gigi Hadid.

Kendall walked for DvF wearing a cute black and white gingham dress with a white lace floral overlay and a black ribbon waistbelt. Then came Tommy Hilfiger where she continued her ascent to be the star of fashion week. She wore a teeny red star-splattered red bikini and then a sheer floaty star print 70s style dress with a cape. Kendall Jenner was a VIM (very important model), as she posed for pictures with Tommy and Georgia May Jagger after the backstage.

At Donna Karan Kendall wore a black and white printed midi skirt with splashes of red, paired with a red slash-neck top and red heels. Kendall looks to be right at home in the backstage area, chatting to the models. Kendall said toGrazia Dailyabout walking last season: "I was really comfortable with the environment and the people around me so I felt really good about it. I thought I would be shaking but making friends with a lot of the models helped."

The Victoria's Secret show could be next up for Kendall, as she appears in Russell James' new coffee-table book *Angel *in a nude portrait shot. She attended the launch party on Wednesday evening with Kris Jenner, and fitted right in alongside Victoria's Secret angels Adriana Lima, Karolina Kurkova and Allessandria Ambrosio.

Kris Jenner has been Instagramming plenty of 'GO KENDALL' messages, but it looks like Kendall is still imposing her Kardashian front row ban. Kendall said to LOVE Magazine about walking last season: "Kim was invited to a lot of the shows that I was in. She called me before and was like, 'Hey, I was invited to the show, I just wanted to let you know. Do you want me to come?' and I was like, 'No.'" She added: "I'd love my sister to come, I'd love my whole family to come. But I didn't want it to look like a family affair. I wanted this to be me. Next season? Sure but for my first season, no. I just wanted it to be something that I own."
