Cara Delevingne is currently running around London filming British film Kids in Love, which she has a leading role. But this morning we've got a first look at Cara Delevingne's acting skills, in a spooky new film shot by Karl Lagerfeld. The creative director of Fendi called upon his leading ladies Amanda Harlech, Saskia de Braw and Cara Delevingne to star in his seven-minute Haunted House tale which will debut on Fendi.com on 12 September.
The good folks at Fendi have given us a 36-second teaser, in which a matriarchal Lady Amanda Harlech hosts a banquet at a haunted mansion, where Delevingne and de Brauw are guests. Cara looks precious with her corkscrew curls pinned back and a candy pink pout - she looks like a high fashion doe-eyed Victorian child. Cara does a mighty good doe-eyed gasp, but we'll have to wait till 12 September to see what scared her. But it's all pretty spooky, as there are dripping candelabras and a chilling soundtrack.
It's a world away from Cara Delevingne's Fendi look in the Autumn Winter 2013 ad campaign, where she sports a slick poker-straight ponytail and poses in Fendi furs and vibrant sky scraper heels on a rooftop in Roma. Karl has a bit of a soft spot for our Cara (like the rest of planet fashion) as she has posed with him for Plastic Magazine, she has starred in a Chanel campaign and he has also made a cameo or two on Cara D's Instagram feed.
It looks like Karl has been watching a scary movie or two, as he sent also Cara and pals to a haunted cinema to model his Chanel autumn Winter 2013 collection. There are creepy matrons patrolling the 'girls only cinema,' girls whispering, topped off with a haunting soundtrack. Maybe you're next project should be a horror flick?
