We are just a teeeeny tiny bit excited about the British Fashion Awards next week, where we will be on Wintour Watch as Anna is being presented with the 'Outstanding Achievement Award.'
Today rumours are circulating that the new creative director at Margiela, John Galliano, will be presenting Anna with her gong. We contacted the BFC about these rumours who said they can not comment on presenters before the awards. If it happens you'll find out first right here on Grazia Daily!

All hail Anna Wintour! The BFC has announced that the editor of US Vogue, avec her iconic bob, will be picking up the Outstanding Achievement Award at the 2014 British Fashion Awards. Wintour, who is also the Artistic Director of Condé Nast, is one of Britain's most successful exports so it's only fitting that she'll be honoured during the swanky ceremony which takes place at the London Coliseum in December.
The fash-pack are certainly full of praise for Lady Wintour with Christopher Bailey, Burberry's Chief Creative and Chief Executive Officer, saying: 'Anna gives an extraordinary amount of her time nurturing and supporting creative talent around the world whether they are emerging or established names, part of fashion, literature, theatre, film, politics, sport or philanthropy. Her contribution to all of our global industries is a testament to both her passion, and her innate generosity.'

1970: Anna's career began at* Harpers & Queen* magazine in London
1983: She joined Condé Nast as Creative Director of American Vogue
1986: She returned to England to become Editor in Chief of British Vogue
1988: In July of this year, Anna rejoined American Vogue in her current position
1990: She played a strategic role in developing the CFDA/Vogue initiative which helped raise over $20 million
1995: Wintour started co-chairing fund-raising galas which to date have raised nearly $130 million for the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute
2003: Wintour directed the establishment of the CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund, an award that aids emerging American designers struggling to find success in the wake of 9/11
2009: In response to the economic downturn, Wintour launched Fashion’s Night Out, designed to promote the retail industry, restore consumer confidence and celebrate fashion
2013: Wintour is named the Artistic Director of Condé Nast
2014: She spearheaded the fashion industry’s involvement in Born Free Africa, which aims to eliminate mother-to-child transmission of HIV by the end of 2015 using funds from a dedicated clothing line
