Chanel returns to the Saatchi Gallery this week for their latest exhibition - Mademoiselle Prive. This time we take a journey through the inspirations of the house, from Chanel's apartment to the world of Haute Couture to Karl's Chanel muses.

Before even entering the gallery, you step into the elegant world of Coco wandering through a beautiful garden created by Chelsea Flower Show gold medalists Harry and David Rich. Once inside, the exhibition starts with a recreation of Coco's iconic Rue Cambon apartment, where you can take pictures on the mirrored stairs. [Look to Rihanna for posing inspiration]

Bruno Pavlovsky, Chanel's CEO, said at the launch of the exhibition: "We needed, to say something about what goes on behind the scenes; about creativity. When you see Chanel, you see Mademoiselle Chanel, you see her apartment, you see the magnificent shows, but you don't have a lot about what's happening behind the scenes. It is a lot about creativity, and the beginning of the story. We felt it was a good time for the brand to be able to show what's happening behind the scenes."

Karl Lagerfeld's muses are celebrated in the exhibition, with portraits of Kristen Stewart, Lily Rose Depp, Vanessa Paradis and Julianne Moore that were taken by Karl Lagerfeld in Coco Chanel's apartment after they sat on the front row at the Haute Couture show in July.

Bruno Pavlovsky said of the importance of these Chanel faces: "They love the brand and they love to work with Karl - that is the most important. A lot of the ambassadors have been loyal with the brand for a long, long time, we have very powerful stories. Vanessa Paradis and Lily Rose is one story, but we have a lot of others who have been around for a long time. It is important we have people around us who are celebrities, but also they have this specific relationship with the brand. The Haute Couture show was for us a way to tease this exhibition."

There is also a wonderfully fragrant Chanel No.5 room, with bubbling cauldrons of the key notes in the iconic fragrance. Accompanying the exhibition is a Mademoiselle Prive app, where you can unlock extra content as you walk through the gallery. Here you can register for special workshops, including a perfume masterclass.

One room dedicated to Haute Couture makes you feel like you are inside a couture dress, with drapes of tweeds and silks that you can touch as you walk through. As well as getting close to some exquisite red carpet gowns, you can also see up close the sparkling Bijouz de Diamants collection (originally designed in 1932) which has been reissued for the exhibition.

The exhibition opens to the public on October 13th, after an A-list opening tonight. We've already spotted Lily Rose Depp and Lily Collins exploring the exhibition.

*The exhibition is open until November 1 and is free. Click herefor more info and opening times. *
