As if we needed yet another reason to love Jennifer Lawrence, the Hunger Games star has admitted that she hates New Year’s Eve.

The 25-year-old will be a guest on Graham Norton’s upcoming NYE special but J-Law told the BBC chat show host that she has never had a fun night out on December 31.

“'I really hate it. I've never had a good one,” Jennifer said.

“Everyone's chasing a good time and it's always a disappointment. I plan on doing nothing and then if something lands in my lap… but I always end up drunk and disappointed.”

It’s oddly comforting to know that even with an Oscar on the shelf and squllions in the bank, it’s not just us that thinks NYE is an overrated load of crap.

Promoting her new film Joy, which has been nominated for two Golden Globes, Jennifer went on to share some stomach-churning tales of her more hilarious adventures in, err, puking.

“I am a puker. When I get stressed and exhausted I just vomit. I was driving with my publicist the other day and had to roll down the window and I puked all down the side of the car. It was in front of all the paparazzi – I painted New York! And I threw up at Madonna's party – on the porch!”

Jen appeared on Graham’s couch alongside fellow Oscar winner Eddie Redmayne who also had a confession to make re: the whole puking at famous people’s houses thing:

“This is something I have never admitted to the world, but I puked at Madonna's party too!”

Jeez Eddie and Jen, we can’t take you two anywhere.

Joy, starring Jennifer, Bradley Cooper and directed by David O. Russell, tells the true story of single mother Joy Mangano who became a self-made millionaire after inventing the Miracle Mop.
