Legendary Makeup Artist Pat McGrath Is Launching A Beauty Collaboration With Star Wars

Pat McGrath was renowned in the beauty world before she even stepped foot in the makeup brand arena. A-listers clamour for her expertise on shoots and before red carpet events (the likes of Naomi Campbell and Kim Kardashian are huge fans), and big name fashion brands enlist her skills fashion week after fashion week.

McGrath's first foray into makeup buys came with a hefty dose of glitter, who here remembers those epic glitter lip kits? We were head over heels for them (hint, hint, Pat, bring them back!).

Her eponymous line landed with a bang in the UK soon after and we were obsessed. The light as a feather foundation doses you up with a natural looking glow like nothing else, the lip balms moisturise and look darned good to boot, and don't even get us started on the shade ranges. Every box was entirely ticked, and then Pat McGrath went one step further when she disclosed that next week would see the launch of her Star Wars: The Rise Of Skywalker Collection. Prepare for sensationally luxe novelty value - the R2D2 lip balm had us at hello.

As a self-confessed Star Wars nerd, it is now perhaps unsurprising that such a collection has found its way into the ether, and if you think it's all purely about the packaging, think again. The palettes boast highly pigmented, wearable shades, and the lip colours are universally flattering, and the force is clearly with them. What more could you want?

The collection launches on the 13th December and will be available at both Selfridges and patmcgrath.com.
