RiRi fans rejoice! A Rihanna documentary is in the works.
Following the singer through her everyday life, the theatrical feature documentary promises to be an “unfiltered look into Rihanna’s life and how she’s ascended to become a global icon.”
The documentary will be one of THE first projects for new production company Film 45, which has just been launched by filmmaker Peter Berg (who made Lone Survivor).
Peter, who gave Rihanna her first ever acting role in the film Battleship, said that he liked the idea of examining “a young artist at the top of her professional field” and that the documentary will be “much more a character study than a music film”. We can't wait.
Will Leonardo DiCaprio make a cameo? Will we get to see the singer swooshing around in more pink princess dresses? Will we get to see inside the style icon’s (presumably HUGE) wardrobe? Watch this space.
