The Best Celebrity Christmas Cards From Ellen DeGeneres To Nick Clegg

Just when you've finished shedding tears over the absence of this year's Kardashian Christmas card (sob - where else will we get gems like this?), celebs have more than made up for it this year.

For the second year in a row, our favourite celebrity Christmas card has to be from chat show host Ellen DeGeneres and wife Portia de Rossi. Following last year'srecreation of Kanye West's Bound 2 video, this year's cheeky (ahem) card is inspired by *that *Kim Kardashian Paper magazine cover. DeGeneres and de Rossi's card reads "Happy Holidays and a Shiny New Year" while their heads are photoshopped onto Kim's oiled derriere. #BreakTheInternet indeed...

It was also a family affair for Tori Spelling whose holiday card featuring the entire family confirmed that her and husband Dean McDermott are moving forward despite his infidelity.

Meanwhile comedy duo James Franco and Seth Rogen gave fans an early Christmas present as the pair sat naked on Santa's lap for a festive shoot with only a stocking strategically placed to preserve their modesty.

Unfortunately for some celebrity politicians, they didn't *quite *get the memo. Tony and Cherie Blair's Christmas card has been described as 'menancingly odd' while others have compared it to childhood villain The Demon Headmaster...

And it was a battle between the vying party leaders with Nick Clegg and Ed Miliband opting for a family affair. Miliband's card features him and barrister wife, Justine, playing with their two sons while Clegg and wife Miriam took several photo-booth snaps. The prime minister instead opted for something more formal and posed outside 10 Downing Street with wife Samantha surrounded by Chelsea Pensioners.
