Just when we thought we'd seen all of Kate's wardrobe, she goes and surprises us by wearing a hoodie. Yes, that's right, the Duchess of Cambridge has ditched her beloved coat dresses in favour of some casual chic. To be fair, she is attending a Beaver Scout meeting in east London this evening so we'll let her off.
Kate, who is pregnant with her second child, has set aside her Tuesday evening to support The Scout Association's "Better Prepared" campaign, which helps young people living in deprived areas. She's meeting dozens of youngsters aged between six and eight to hand out badges, learn sign language and, umm, eat chocolate while wearing boxing gloves. The exercise aims to show the beaver scouts how difficult it can be for some disabled people to eat.
The Royal has teamed her black hoodie with a Scout scarf, jeans and boots for an all together comfortable look (those princess-y waves are still in place, of course). The hoodie may not be as chic as her Alexander McQueen numbers, but something tells us the hoodie will none the less go down a storm with Copy Kates, not least because it costs just £25.
