We thought we knew every single Cara Delevingne shoot there was from Burberry to Saint Laurent, but a photo from her first shoot, before she was a model, at just 10 years old has resurfaced.
Cara didn't start off posing in an unknown catalogue or modelling cereal (well, of course not!), she made her modelling debut on the pages of Italian Vogue.
The little cutey appeared in a feature on milliner Philip Treacy shot by renowned fashion photographer Bruce Weber, who apparently spotted her and requested to shoot her. In the feature mini Cara poses beneath a giant yellow hat with pink detailing and a pink trilby with a face on it. The beanie lover was a tomboy back then as she rocked a blonde bob, red tee and navy shorts.
Philip Treacy said of the mini model: ‘Cara probably doesn’t remember but she was gorgeous then. I think that was the first time she was featured in print.’ He added: ‘I think she is going to be as big as Kate Moss. If not even bigger.’
Want to see more of Cara before she was a mega model with a Burberry campaign and 3.5 Million (and rising) Twitter followers?
Did she have the killer eyebrows? The same crazy expressions? Well we have delved into the archives to dig up some retro Delevingne snaps. Cara is a fan of the #FlashbackFriday instagram and regularly tweets childhood pictures of her and sisters Poppy and Chloe so there was plenty of material to plough through.
